This is so simple and yet a wonderful lesson for everyone. I work at an elementary school and I hope we can begin a program to study vocab and help the hungry. Such a great way to introduce young children to be aware of others in need. It adds up. If the creator is making money, good, I’m sure he donates a great deal of it to these same charities. Try it! It’s fun and educational! Tell everyone you know!

3baid: It’s an excellent idea really. Ofcourse my first doubt was, what if it’s fake. But people say it’s been featured on BBC and other news. However still I can’t understand one thing. They are getting paid by advertisers for viewing ads, and they are feeding hunger based on correct answers, so the average must be really close to each other or else there will be excess money.

Anyways, I think this is a good thing every morning to do :)

The rice is paid for by the advertisers whose names you see on the bottom of your vocabulary screen. This is regular advertising for these companies, but it is also something more. The coolest is when you have the Answers.com Firefox plug-in installed which lets you ctrl+click on any word to pop up the definition.
