I got the chance today to cancel the jumper and apply for a lite DSL account at United Networks. When I went to pay the land-line fees, the grumpy lady behind the desk asked what my relation was to the owner. “She’s my mom.”, I explained with a smile. For some reason she didn’t look very convinced but didn’t ask for an ID anywho. :/

Cashier: 900 fils mam
Me: *hand over 10kd bill* sorry I don’t have change.
Cashier: Oh mam, sorry we don’t have change! *calling another employee to help him, looking at the cash register shuffling for money*
- Sister comes up to me, I tell her NOT a word don’t pay for me! I want change, go pay alone :D
Me: Ok you can check the other cash register?
Cashier: No mam we don’t have change *other cashier mumbling with him* mam please pay with K-Net *:D*
Me: *mentally thinking! What? Pay 200something fils to draw 900 fils LOL!? All I want is change* No, I don’t want to.
Cashier: ammm
Me: it’s ok you can keep the water and give me back my money :)
Cashier: No mam its ok
Me: ?!!!
Cashier: *shuffling half and quarter KD bills: aka 3yadi old days* is it fine like this mam????
Me: Sure :D its perfect.
Cashier: ?!?!
