ClickToFlash – Awesome Safari Plugin!

I just installed ClickToFlash, a plugin for Safari that prevents Flash from loading until you click on it (like Firefox’s FlashBlock plugin). But it does more than that, it lets you avoid using Flash altogether by using Quicktime instead.

Skype: Kuwait’s Most Popular iPhone App

For more than a year, the Ministry of Communication has asked ISPs to block Skype, but now that it’s available as an iPhone app, there’s no stopping people from downloading it through Kuwait’s iTunes App Store.

Apple releases Safari 4 beta

Apple just released the fourth edition of their web browser, Safari. It’s currently in beta, but I couldn’t help myself to give it a go and give my impressions.

Asus EeePC Ad on TV

I was watching a movie on MBC Action last night when the intermission came up and they started running some ads. I wasn’t really paying much attention until I heard the Apple Macbook Air commercial music come on and I look and see an Asus EeePC being pulled out of a manila folder!

Now I’ve seen plenty of funny Macbook Air parodies before via YouTube including one from IBM and Dell, but that ad was a no joke. To top it off, the ad flashed the Mobinil logo; Egypt’s ‘leading’ telecommunication company, the same company that also happens to officially support the iPhone in that region!
