    The maximal force that a muscle can develop. It is directly related to the size of the muscle.
  • Power (Speed)
    How fast the muscle can develop its maximum strength.
  • Endurance (Time)
    The capacity to generate or sustain maximal force repeatedly.
  • Flexibilty (Reach)
    Maximum range motion of joints to protect against injury.

The training to improve strength, power and endurance of muscle performance is called resistance training, while flexibility is achieved by stretching exercises.
